Service Engineer Workshop

 

Are you technically skilled, hands-on, and driven by the challenge of restoring critical engine components to peak performance? For our workshop in Schiedam, we are looking for a Service Engineer Workshop who takes ownership of quality, precision, and reliability.

In this role, you will work on the disassembly, inspection, overhaul, and assembly of a wide range of engine components. Your work will directly contribute to the performance, safety, and longevity of our products. You will operate in a professional workshop environment where craftsmanship, technical expertise, and continuous improvement are key.

Your role:

  • Preparing tools, parts, and work instructions prior to execution;
  • Disassembling and assembling engines and engine components;
  • Repairing, replacing, and overhauling parts, including basic machining activities;
  • Performing detailed inspections based on measurements, testing procedures, and product knowledge;
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, manuals, and specifications;
  • Identifying and contributing to process improvements within the workshop.

Who you are:

  • You have a technical education or proven experience in a workshop environment;
  • You are experienced in working with machines, tools, and measuring equipment;
  • You work accurately, are quality-driven, and strictly follow safety procedures;
  • You are capable of working independently while also contributing effectively within a team;
  • You are eager to further develop your technical expertise;
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English language for technical documentation;
  • You are currently based in the Rotterdam / The Hague region and hold a valid EU passport.

We offer:

  • A competitive gross monthly salary between €3,500 and €4,600 (Scale E), depending on your experience and technical expertise;
  • The opportunity to work overtime with full financial compensation;
  • 27 vacation days + 4 ADV days, plus an additional day off on your birthday;
  • 8.33% holiday allowance and a 13th month payment (December bonus);
