Business Development Wind

 

Do you have a strong commercial mindset and the drive to build and grow a technical service offering in an international environment? We are looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial Business Developer for Wind to strengthen our team in Antwerp! In this dynamic role, you combine entrepreneurial drive, commercial insight and operational leadership to grow and professionalize our Wind activities in the Benelux. You are a visible and hands-on presence: regularly on the road, visiting customer sites, coordinating jobs on location and building strong, long-term partnerships. Our customers are spread across the region and beyond, which means frequent travel, long distances and occasional overnight stays are an inherent and energizing part of the job.

Your role: In this position you will be responsible for both commercial growth and operational excellence of our Wind business.  

  • Develop and expand the Wind business in the Benelux and act as the main point of contact for key accounts.
  • Visit customer sites regularly to support projects, strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage sales quotations, follow up on opportunities, monitor job execution and ensure cost control and profitability.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and international colleagues.
  • Identify customer needs, update CRM data and actively generate new leads and services.
  • Coordinate with product centres, suppliers and regional Wind managers to ensure smooth and aligned service delivery.
  • Support marketing initiatives, trade shows and international Wind activities.
  • Drive efficiency improvements, standardised processes and an excellent customer experience.

    

Who you are: You are an entrepreneurial and communicative professional who combines commercial insight with operational coordination in a technical environment.

  • You hold a Bachelor or Master degree and have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role within Wind.
  • You have a strong commercial mindset and solid technical understanding.
  • You are customer-focused, proactive and able to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • You are a strong networker with good knowledge of the local Wind market and internal stakeholders.
  • You have excellent organisational, coordination and communication skills.
  • You communicate clearly with customers, partners and colleagues at all levels.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
